Pontoon Boat & Deck Boat Forum

Took the boat out three times now and absolutely love it-what is really cool is that when you pass another pontoon in the lake everyone waves. Struck up several conversations with other pontoon owners and I actually have great conversations and enjoy it with complete strangers-this is better than a shrink!!!!!!!

Where are you boating Conroe or Livingston? Have fun!

Wonder if your the group we hooked up with on the sandbar north of the 1097 bridge Friday before the concert?? I agree, folks on pontoon boats appear to be extra friendly. We are trying to find more friends on our lake.

Don't forget to invite them to the forum, then it would be easy to set up a later meet up between new friends

I have been to Conroe, Somerville and planning to go back to Somerville on Saturday-Great idea about telling other pontoon owners I meet about the forum and then hooking up later. I live less than 30 minutes from Conroe but it gets too crazy on weekends when I have the family out. I would like to go to Livingston and possibly try to navigate the Trinity if possible.

Drago was not me-I cannot catch you on the lake, I am the toon that travels at 20 mph top -but I saw a couple of toon speedsters on Saturday just before the big storm traveling back to Scott's Ridge-loaded the trailer and the wind hit when pulling up the ramp. I am not familar with the sand bar but I was at island a short time just north of the dam. Let me know -we would love to meet other tooners
