We have one of their green lights for the water and a white/blue light for light on the boat. They work great and apparently draw very little current. The green light in the water attracts small bait fish very readily. It is amazing how many of these little ones are in the water. We haven't perfected fishing with the light yet but the bait fish attraction clearly works like a charm.

I used to fish off the dock with a light all the time. The best luck I had was free lining a live shiner, just at the edge of the light.
