My boat will be ssetting in the slip for 3 to 4 weeks not being used. Would it better to pull it out of the water. First year for pontoon

It should not be a big problem in fresh water. You still may get some kind of stuff growing on it tho.

Mine has been living in the water since 2005. Still working good. I do scrape the hull with plastic scrapers about once a month when it is warm.

Oh yes. You're definitely fine. I took mine out of the water for the first time in one year a few days ago to pressure wash the toons. I keep it in 365 days a year.

If you have a trailer and a place to pull the boat, pull it out of the water.

It wouldn't hurt to pull it out if possible...but the funny thing about boats...is that they are made for the water.
