I bought a cheapo GPS for my 'toon. The boat didn't come with a speedo, so I found a GPS for Dummies on the web for under 40 bucks. Works great as a speedo, and does show cities and marinas along the Colorado River where we boat.

Browse the play store for "navionics", they have some good ones. I use the Lakes US East on my phone.
