I had added a center toon a few weeks ago, and this week I brought it in to weld the lifting strakes on the outer tubes. Biggest part of the job was getting it up off the trailer. Ended up suspending it from the ceiling rafters to lift it and then blocked underneath it. Used lifting straps and grabbed it at the lifting eyes on the pontoons. Should be done by early part of the week.

Looks like fun hanging that boat from the celing. It sure looks easier than what I made my buddy deal with when he welded mine on. We just jacked the boat up and placed it on a few timbers laying across the bunks. It worked fine for welding but it was a pain crawling around under the boat with a trailer also in the way. I look forward to hearing how the new strakes work for you. I think avalons are real nice boats . We see quite a few around here with the factory being so close.
