WHERE and HOW can you mount a flag
The only pole on our boat is one for the Anchor Light on the Bimini Top. However there are no clips or other flag-mounting hardware on the pole.
Any other suggestions?

I used a 3ft piece of 3/4 PVC and used heavy zip ties to mount on backward slanting Bimini frame. I drilled a hole through pole and PVC and used a 1/4 stainless bolt to secure. Been there 3 years with no problems.

We use the Charlevoix clips that PlaynDoc posted links to, we attach em to our Nav light on the bimini, and they work just fine,
when we want to add the beer flag as well we use these to clip it directly to the bimini frame

they also work great for hanging wet towels to dry and hanging towels from the bimini to add shade if the sun is low

I fly an American flag on the starboard rear bimini frame post and I fly our Redneck Yacht Club flag on the port frame post. I used 2 short zip-ties attached to the frame post. Then I used 2 short zip-ties to attach the flag to each of the zip-ties attached to the frame post.
Cheap and easy... just like me.

For whatever reason I like the flag in the middle of the boat not the side, so we mount ours on bimini anchor light. Go to any marine store and they will have clips that will attach to your light post.

We went to Basspro and got a flag and mount that mounts on the rail...it sits proudly on the port side rear closest to our heart....about $36....

If I lived in North Carolina, I'd be to one of those 2 stores 'in a flash'. Maybe the next time we're enroute to North Myrtle Beach

For Father's Day, my kids got me two Taylor Made flags for the boat, took 2 minutes to install, looks nice and clean, easy to remove when the boat comes off the lake.

Hailing near New Orleans, I can certainly appreciate the value of a cheap ass set of beads in the right atmosphere.

Would you possibly be able to post a photo or 2 of the clips in place on your boat?
