how to read prop labeling

Newbie. I have stainless steel prop. 1st ? it says Michigan, 14x13 RH, SSM-249 -C what does that mean? 2nd ? will this fit on 1989 70 hp Johnson outboard. Thanks in advance for any info.

14" diameter, 13 pitch right hand prop. Can't answer the fitment question.

Ya, you need to go to Michigan Wheels website and try to cross reference it.

RH is right hand rotation I believe and the SSM-249 is stainless steel Michigan and I would guess the -249-c is their number for it.

I bet that is the prop number and does not address what it is hubbed with. MM numbers are usually 6 digits.
