Well, since the boat was out for Isaac, I'm redoing the bottom. It has a coat of epoxy, then bottom paint. What type of AF bottom paint are you salt water guys using? Any good deals?

I use Interlux Trilux 33, very good paint but it's about $250 a gallon

You have to use an etching primer first on aluminum. Holds up well and my boat has less barnacles than most vessels in our marina this year. I touch up every season and repaint every 5.

Thanks Guys. I pressure washed the bottom last night, and will do a little more scraping tonite. I also hit some very dirty sections of carpet where the mold was almost a solid sheet, and it came out perfect.

Less than 2 months ago. He knows because that is what the receipt says for the tilt trim rebuild and it is out because it broke again.
It may actually be less than that because it may not have got back in the water right away after it was fixed.
