playbuoy pontoon boats

Anyone have or had a playbuoy pontoon boat? The guy I bought mine from has a 22ft tri-toon with a 115 yamaha 4 stroke that I can trade my bennington 25ft for. I know its smaller and you don't really hear of many ppl down sizing, but i like the tri-toon option. Any input welcome!

My next door neighbor has a Playbuoy pontoon, and it's a very nice pontoon boat.

The company has a great reputation, and they now makes toons under the names Tahoe and Avalon.

I would let the picture go in off topic,even there you be walking a fine line but we need to keep Pontoon General clean for those who's wife would beat them for looking at pictures like this

Are you comparing apples to apples, what is the year of the boats? motor size equal hp?, all due respect to playbuoy owners but there is a reason he is trading you equal for the Bennington plus you are getting 3' less boat, I would stay with the Bennington.

My new Bennington really comes alive when you're running the mid to high 20's (in a fast cruise) and throw the pedal to the metal. It's really honkin' up to it's 40 mph top speed.

If you often carry a bunch of people and if you're family is into water sports--go tritoon. Many people with pontoons are slow cruisers and don't have kids--go twin toons.

Tritoons are okay if powered by 115 hp. But, they're really best if powered with 150 hp or larger motors. The main thing is to get lifting strakes, as they add so much more to your boating experience.
