Hello, I just ordered a Bennington 2250 GSR triple log (SPS) with a Yamaha 150. I was wondering if anyone would know what size prop would ship with this combination? I'm trying to figure the all important ........."what's my top speed going to be" question.

Thanks for all your help! Tom
Here's what the 2250 GSR seating configuration looks like. Twin captain chairs is part of the package.

My brother has a Bennington 2274GL triple with the ESP package (larger elliptical center tube) and a Yamaha 150. I have a very similar Premier Legend 225 with the PTX center tube. Both of us run in the mid to upper 30s depending on water and wind conditions, with the Premier being only very slightly faster.

You'll be looking at 37-38 mph, and a F150 will probably use a 14 pitch prop.

The G series is slightly heavier than my 24' SSLX that gets 40 mph with a 15 pitch prop. I usually find myself cruising @ 3500 rpms, so mph is not an issue.

I love that new model floorplan. You'll put a ton of food across that rear table.

Nice welcome :nana would think depending on how many on board should get between 30-35. My toon 23 foot 115 Yamaha get 25-30.

That is one beauty of a boat, my 2075 gli with yamaha f150 and ESP gets about 38 to 39 with a light load and mid 30's with a heavy load. I am running a yamaha reliance 14.5 inch by 15 pitch and get max rpm, I am guessing that either the 15 or a 14 pitch is gonna be your ticket. Bennington specked my prop and they where spot on. I would go with there recommendation, they sell a lot of boats with yamaha f150's. you are gonna love your new boat, Benny's and pontoons in general are awsome.

Very nice!
Best of luck and don't worry about top end. If you really wanted to go fast you'd have bought an open bow with a 496 HO!

Great looking toon. Here is a link to performance data for various boats and motors on the Yamaha website. I used this info along with responses on this forum to decide what outboard and prop to get for my new pontoon last fall. You may find your exact setup or one very close to what you have in the performance bulletins. Good luck with your new pontoon.
