Where are the big logs?

I see the brand name manufacturers, and forum posters with 25" pontoons or under, I have 27" tubes on our Sweetwater, are there any other owners out there?.. or am I the oddball? hahaha
Though 27's are an option, the extra buoyancy is def a plus, I thought there might be more out there from reading various forums, could be an alternative to tri-toons. just saying.
btw, this IS the best forum around. THX youse guys!

Those are 28" diameter pontoons my son is standing in front of. Maybe on my next boat.

I wish but that was just at the boat show. I'm trying to convince my wife to let me sell our house and buy a real big boat to live on.

Good luck with that. Benny's with twin ellipticals have 2 32 inch logs, can you say Ron Jeremy of pontoon boats lol. On a serious note, it seems like more people opt for a third toon then bigger logs.

Good luck with that, we'll be married 25 years in May and I've been wanting to liveaboard almost that long. The answer's still hell no...
In this economy, it's sounding more practical everyday. Imagine living in one of my raftups, lol.
A couple of boating friends who also lost their jobs are talking raftup 'hoods, lol.

maybe... maybe not, judging by the by the pic that Ron Burgundy posted, larger tubes are on display at all the boat shows, I wasn't looking for bigger tubes or tritoons when we bought our boat, it was just part of the "deal" I found searching/shopping the web.
A third log offers many benefits, allowing more HP to the boat is one of them, but I wasn't looking for a "performance" toon, I had that in our previous v hull boats, we just want to cruise, lounge, party, fish and crab with the tide, a 2 logger works for us, and probably most of the posters on here.
it's basically... different boats for different folks.

I have a 25' aqua patio with 27" logs, 150 HP. Very fast with 2 people on board. I'm probably adding a third pontoon this season so that the boat will be very fast with 6 or more people on board. I hope to see improved fuel economy due to decreased drag

I'm only a scientist on the weekends, but don't tri-toons have more drag?
Obviously they have more boyancy, but it takes more power to push them.

yep, big hp to push it due to drag/weight = more fuel.
Gas prices on the water this season will be friggin nuts. You gotta pay to play.
