Will LED Replacement Bulbs Work?

I am interested in converting my existing bimini anchor light to LED. Is this possible or do I have to stay with incandescent? My purpose is for overnight camping on the toon and leaving the anchor light on per law. LED's use so much less battery!

If it isn't possible any ideas to save the battery during overnighters when required to leave anchor light on?

I have LED's in the inside and outside of my toon but I have gotten to where I hang a crappie light connected to a 12 volt lawn mower battery during the night.
We spent several nights on the water last year and this has worked great.
Some of the crappie lights must be submersed but there are some that do not have to be put into the water. It puts out a nice glow that is easily seen from a good distance away and is plenty of light inside but without being over bearing.
I bought mine from Academy for about $30.00

You can get 12v LED bulbs To replace just about any incandescent bulb out there. Most are from China unfortunately. Do an ebay search for 12v led + (your bulb #)and narrow it down from there. I have an older boat and was able to find replacements for 1156 and 1157 bulbs in different led arrangements.
