Very satisfied with Bennington purchase

#1 Post by Four R's » Mon Mar 18, 2013 8:42 pm

Put down payment on a 2012 (left-over) Bennington 2275 GCW with 32" elipticals, lifting strakes, 115 Yamaha 4 stroke and saltwater pkg. Owner Mark from Sheltered Cove Marina in NJ and Jack (salesman) were terrific to deal with.

You'll be very satisfied. The twin ellipticals with strakes will get up and run with 115 hp, and be very seaworthy.

Congrats!

Since it is a leftover 2012 be sure to ask for the extension of the warranty from 5 to 7 years bumper to bumper. All they need to do is register you on ClubBennington.com and you should be set.

Congrats & Good luck. Here's wishing you smooth boating and sunny skies every day you're on the water.
Can't wait to drop mine in the water for the first time this season, but the weather supposed to be cold and rainy/snowy all weekend. Weather guy said to expect this kind of weather for at least the next two weeks.
Ugh!!

Do you think they really can project out what weather's going to happen for two weeks ahead? There are too many variables. May as well look in the almanac to see what the weather's going to be.

I do think the Spring has Sprung, but a week or two of cold nights are expected. Now, if we could just rid of all this every other day rain pattern, it would be nice.

Then it's back to work raking all the leaves that never got chomped up last fall, painting the trim on the houses, raking all the hickory nuts and acorns out of the grass, cutting back all the monkey grass, cutting down a tree or two. By the time I finish those honey do's, there will be a much longer list waiting on me.

And all I want to do is be out riding on my new Bennington--when the wind subsides. Work comes second.

Most of the time I depend on my weather rock hanging outside my door.
When it's dry-no rain
When it's wet-rain
When it's white-snow
When it's gone-tornado

It's never been wrong, unlike me and the weather person.

Hardley any scratches. Playpen cover has some small tears near snaps but a non issue for us.
