1986 Mercury 45hp with controls price?

Can anyone put a value on a 1986 Mercury 45hp with controls?

When I bought my Bass Buggy two years ago I took this motor off, put it in the shed, and forgot about it. It ran the day I bought the boat and I remember under the cover it was spotless and seemed well kept. Figured it was time to get it out of the shed and put it on Craigslist but I have no idea where to start on a price. Thoughts?

The first thing to consider for pricing, is does it still run? Was is prepared properly before storage, and will it start and run now? A key phrase that scares off a lot of potential buyers is "It ran before I put it in storage."
