'tis the season to fill the reservoirs.
Yeah, that's it.
This morning, when I was shoveling my driveway, at ONE BELOW (that's -18C for most of the world), I had to focus hard on the facts that we NEED this moisture, and that my first launch is only a few weeks away. I'm getting the fever!!!

It was 80 yesterday here in Tulsa and is 38 and raining today. We need the rain so no complaints here. My Bermuda grass is starting to green up and I have had the boat out twice. Come on Summer!

Low to mid 80s since Monday here, 80s through Friday, then back to our normal temps in the 60s to low 70s next week. 86 right now, Cheryl's out in the pool.

I was out today shoveling ground up leaves in my yard--hauling them away. After I filled up the pickup, a little nap was in order. Manual labor is tough in such heat when you're not used to it.
Went back out and finished the job.
Fishermen were all over the Tennessee River. It's a little windy bud downright hot.
I saw South Dakota was under 20" of snow on television--a record amount.
Sometimes, life is just not fair.

Spent my 2nd day in a row on the lake. Hit 86 degrees here in Nashville today. Now I have a nice sunburn. Possible severe storms and tornadoes tomorrow. Life in Tennessee!

Huh. I have a sister who lives in Lincoln.
There's a lake near there?

Bob, we got up to a whopping 16 in my backyard Tuesday. we put the boat in last weekend, just in time for the storm. good thing we don't de-winterize the head and sink until late April or early May!

We are usually on the water by May, but I don't think so this year. I havn't even got the boat home from storage to rig it up for the summer, its been to cold. Suppose to get another 20 cm of snow this weekend. Really getting sick of winter, started in mid October this year.

Two feet on Monday/Tuesday, and another foot forecasted for today.
For you other-worlders, that's about a metre (note alternate spelling) of snow.
