Pressure test. Whats the norm?

Hey everyone,

Now that the flood waters are receding I am soon going to be able to get the used boat I am looking at into the water for a water test.
I also want to get a compression test on the motor.
Its a 1984 Lowe pontoon with a '84 40 HP Johnson/Evinrude 2 stroke motor.
I have googled and am not finding any luck.

Where do you find where compressions should be on motors? I am told 110 or better but do not know if that goes for older motors too.

Thank you in advance :)

pretty much it anything over 100 is good. as long as they are within 10 percent of each other.
