I have a 96 (I think) Evinrude/Johnson 88"spl" and I am wanting to do some work and re-wiring on it. Does anyone have a pdf of this motor.. I have searched the internet with no luck. I am wanting to add a trim gauge and fix the warning gauges that dont seem to be set up.

That was perfect... I should be able to find the right wires to wire in my new trim gauge..There is just so many wires back at the motor that are not connected and several gauges that the wires are just hanging under them.. Im going to check this weekend and see if the overheat horn is working.. Does the "spl"`s even have one?

Check your local library for a service manual. I checked one out for my motor and photo copied the relevant pages I needed.
