This weekend, we moored on Chatfield Reservoir, on the west side of Metro Denver.

Fuel price on the dock?

$5.51 per gallon!!!

That's for regular unleaded...

And I thought our lake was bad in the $4.50 range.

I paid about $5.20 per gallon in Nova Scotia last week.

Came home and paid $3.14 per gallon for unleaded. I guess it's all the free healthcare for the difference. Beer was $12.99 and $13.99 per six pack, plus 15% sales taxes.

Our regular off lake pump price was at $4.19 today. I dont even want to know what my marina is charging for the premium non ethanol fuel I use.

I bought gas at our marina on Friday for $3.94.

mine is 4.80

Freaking $4.25 on land here now!

Land $3.52 Lake $4.58 glad all I do is Chill on the Pontoon.

Paid 3.24 at a racetrack today.

But its hot here though.

My anchor is getting overtime.....drive a mile to my favorite cove...drop anchor...pop a cold one...sit in a cove cushion 6 hours....drive back....and as the shampoo bottle states: Repeat

Glad I'm not slipping this year. I can go to Valero, $3.65/gal. Local marinas are all above $4.

Here: Land is $3.49 and River/Marina is $5

Looks like Im hauling 5 gallon cans down to the boat all summer....

Keystone Lake Pier 51 was 3.95 Sunday. Not as bad as I expected

Welcome to my lake Bob. Hope other than the gas price you had a good time! I put fuel in my tank Sunday morning and that 5.50 price sucked! Makes me glad we mainly just troll around the lake fishing and only tube a handful of times a year.

A couple years ago the price at the dock was only a 50-75 cent premium, but last year things started getting out of whack.

McDonalds at south end of our lake has floating gas docks and street price gas @ 3:29/gal.
