First time identifying stamped numbers on prop

#1 Post by fiddlebick » Fri Jun 21, 2013 11:18 am

So I will know what I am looking at, what exactly do these numbers represent on the prop. (M) E 3 x 15.25 x 15R. Honda 135 four stroke. Thanks.

I am currently turning 5300 rpms at 24mph at WOT. A new prop is in the near future.

My yamaha prop is stamped w/ 17T over 15 1/2. I would assume that's a 15 1/2" prop with a 17 pitch, but any idea why they use a "T" for pitch rather than a "P" or an L or R to indicate direction?
