My idiot buddy took them out for me Sat night, and left them laying on the back of the boat, they are now gone forever. I need a set and wondered if they are all standard sized?

They should be 1/2" I think. Be sure and get plastic or SS

I wasn't going to admit this but I had to Mcguyver mine a couple weeks ago. We were off the coast of Goat Island when I noticed the boat was a little heavy in the hind end. I looked at my son and asked if he put the screws back in the toons. He said "I thought you did". Nope. So back to the trailer and watched it pee out all three logs for thirty minutes...LOL. I found that the snap buttons for my cover along the top rail had the same size screws holding them on, so I grabbed three of them. I also pulled the wiggle tails off of some rubber worms from the tackle box and used them for washers. Back in business!!.
Well, even though that was a big dummy move. I did feel better saving the trip.

And no. Plugs are not standard on toon logs

Eh, I don't mind admitting my ignorance, in this case letting somebody pull them for me. I have a ritual I follow to make sure things like this dont happen. I ran by the local parts shop and saw some 1/2" made out of brass, but they looked way too big honestly. They had one made out of some kind of plastic that didnt say what size, but looked correct so I grabbed those to try out. I hope these work as they have a "keeper" that inserts into the hole so you cant really loose them, although that havnt met me. :lol3

Well, those were not right, but I found what I was after. They ended up being 3/8" with pipe thread. "Ace was the Place with the helpful hardware...er boat parts man".

I wouldn't think a new toon would need to have the plugs pulled, but get one that 25 years old, and your going to get leaks. Mine has cracks at multiple welds, and they cant be fixed without pulling the logs completely off the boat. As such, I just pull them to drain the water each time I use it, obviously if I left is on he water 24-7 it would be a serious issue.
