So far, I've been on 7 different lakes this year:
Blue Mesa - Gunnison, CO: Elevation 7,519
Jackson Lake State Park - somewhere on the Godforsaken plains of Colorado: Elevation 4,440
Chatfield Lake State Park - Littleton, CO: Elevation 5,430
Dillon Reservoir - Dillon Colorado: Elevation 9,000
Green Mountain Reservoir - Heeney, CO: Elevation 8,000
Wolford Mountain Reservoir - Kremmling, CO: Elevation 7,489
Horsetooth Reservoir - Fort Collins, CO: Elevation 5,400
So far this year, I have about 70 hours on the motor, and over 300 miles.
The goal is 300 hours (I hit 150 in our maiden year), but that may be ambitious.

That's great. After going to Canada for 2 weeks, I've only burned 10 gallons in the Bennie this year. The wife's not seen the lake house in 6 months--18 miles from home. I've been doing minor construction.
I'm hauling gasoline today and tomorrow for the Bennie and the Waverunner for the fourth of July. We have 7 people coming. My aunt next door has 15 people there, and another 20 coming for a whole week. They're running a SkiNautique half the day.

That's a lot of climbing and mileage for time spent on the water......maybe when you get to that 300 hours,
you won't have put too many more miles 'tween you and the water!

Retire? What's that?
Holy cats, if I was retired I'd be putting a thousand hours a year on my boat!

I think I did about 55-60 last year of run time . Lots of sandbar and float time though. So far this crappy year, abot 5 hrs I would guess. Only two days with no rain when I could actually take the toon out. But , I am heading up tomorrow for 11 days.

nice,
on the other hand, our toon is still covered, from last year.
Been out fishing just once, was last month, shot a carp, I am one for one though
to top it off, I may be diagnosed with carpal tunnel in a couple of weeks.
I am thinking of renting a cabin this month though at the lake, and seeing about leaving the boat at the marina there for a month or so.
