Plati-dip

I was noticing a trend in cars where people spray plastidip on cars to have a different look, then just peel it off if they decide to go back to the original color.

I wonder if plastidip would be good for the fences if you wanted to try out different color schemes? I see you can get a primer to help it stick better?

I think I may try fire engine red and see if I like it... :alright :nana

I hadn't seen that but I did see where they have a clear plastic you can spray on the car to protect it, that will be great during love bug season in Florida, you can go from having a white to black front end quick running through the bugs in some areas.

You have to get them off soon or they eat the paint and unless you have the bug juice in your washer tank don't turn on the wipers on, or you won't be seeing.

Give it a try and post some pictures

I plastidipped the chrome grill on my wife's black charger RT black and it held up great and looked great for about a year, all the washing and bugs started to wear on it so I pealed it off and redid it... I dident use any primer just cleaned it good and put about 10 very light coats...I ended up with a nice smooth finish!

good to know, they sell it by the gallon and you can spray it on with a HVLP sprayer. Sounds like I may have to try it...

So if you were going to use your vehicle in a suspicious manner (you know, like driving 80 in a school zone, while under the influence, without a license, transporting minors across state lines, with unlicensed explosives and not wearing any underwear), you could make your car...let's say bright yellow, then quickly stop and peel off the yellow, and drive home at the speed limit, without rousing suspicion (assuming that your car isn't YELLOW under that yellow palsti-dip). Right?

ha ha, the perfect cover! It would be easier to put racing stripes on the car as they would peel off very quickly...
