I stumbled across this website accidently and couldn't believe there price on a trailerable cover.
I just spent $1200 on a beautiful Sunbrella cover but it is NOT trailerable. Im considering buying one of these just so I can keep it covered while towing. Thoughts ?

There prices are LOW, LOW, LOW. They say nothing about what there made of. Could be old towels. I would not order anything from them. There is no discription of what your getting other than size of boat and price. Looks like a rip-off to me.

Cheryl had one of these for her motorcycle, lasted about 3 seasons parked under a carport. It got very brittle and started to come apart. I bought one for the new 'toon to keep the dust/leaves/etc. out of the new boat, also under the carport. Very thin/cheap material, but the price is low if I get 3 seasons out of it, it's worth it.

The description says its made from 600 denier polyester and has a 5 year warranty. Don't see how you could go wrong.

Im really just interested in using it while Im trailering it to the lake. The rest of the time it would be kept in the storage bag it comes in.

I did not see any thing about shipping on the site but I know you can get these off of e-bay with free shipping, search pontoon covers.

I don't trailer my pontoon, but I do pull my bass boat once in a while. I thought that having a cover on a boat while pulling it is like having a huge reverse sail. The wind gets under it and creates a tremendous drag, increasing fuel consumption, not to mention wear and tear on the tow vehicle.
I'm sure there's lots of opinions, but it would be interesting to have someone on this forum run a test by pulling the boat to their regular put-in spot with and without the cover and checking on fuel consumption.

It is more expensive but this cover from PS is awesome. It has held up to some pretty major storms. There has been ZERO pooling as well. I used the old poles with carpet scraps on the top and bottom of the poles. The 10% discount helps a little... and it has a 6 year warranty. It took me a couple of tries to get it tied down but now it doesn't move a bit.

I have a durashield I use during the boating season. It is great, inexpensive and has lasted 3 seasons.
In the Winter I use the custom factory mooring cover.

It is heavy enough, but easy to put on and take off quickly.

Keeps the sun of the boat, and as dry as my custom factory mooring cover.
