I am thinking on adding this to my 70lb thrust 24 volt minn kota.
Any one have this.

I think the price on that one is wrong,

Ive seen iPilots for no less than a grand.

like:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0060O ... =soca0f-20

I have a 74# with the tiller handle, would love to get an iPilot, have heard that is awesome.
the 74# moves me good, have hit 2mph with it in the right conditions.

I think the unit in question is just an add-on to an existing PowerDrive troller. It basically replaces the head and adds the remote control unit.

I have the i-Pilot PowerDrive on my toon, and I love it.

That's the right price for the head only. I bought the 24v #70 for $1100. Love it!

that is the right price to add it to your present V2 unit I went ahead and told the dealer to add it to mine total out the door $590.49.
I will go to the lake in couple weeks from now IF there is still h20 there last report was it is at 12% of cap the corp of eng. says they can go as low as 5%.

I have the Minkota terrova 80 lbs of thrust with Quick detach. I plan on adding the remote keyfob this winter. I love it. I can travel up river on a calm day at 3mph. It does take some getting use to, as I was use to the old cabled type. This is digital. But over all it works great.

Do you have the Power Drive 2 model? I thought the I-pilot only worked with/on two models of the MinnKota motors. I'm pretty sure one of them is the Terrova, can't remember the other.
I looked into changing out my MinnKota Maxxum for the Terrova with the I-pilot and it was going to be about $1,600. The guy who gave me the quote thought I'd get somewhere between $350-400 for my Maxxum 74# thrust motor.
Haven't been able to convince myself or the Admiral that this would be a good move.
