Too low in the water?
This is the first pontoon that I've owned & we were on the lake with some friends & he asked if the rear of the boat was suppose to sit low in the water. I told him that most of them do- but then I started questioning my own boat.
What are y'all's opinions on this? Both wives were in the back & it was full of fuel-24 gallons.

Re: Too low in the water?
My Harris sits that low. I also wondered the same thing but performance is fine. Yours sits almost exactly as mine does.

Re: Too low in the water?
Seems normal to me, it's got to sit a little lower than the front. Look at the big motor and all that gos with it, battery, fuel, gear, people, Looks fine.

Re: Too low in the water?
I had this same fear when ppl see mine "are you sinking? is it suppose to do that? i think you are sinking..."
No moron, its called physics. I have a short boat with a couch, 13 gallons of gas, and a 600lb motor all on one end and nothing but an anchor on the other side.
Now sit down or keep your ( l ) on shore!

Re: Too low in the water?
There's physics and there's stupid. I've seen them both on the Red River. This summer I'll start a thread with pictures of the latter. Sometimes I'm surprised the river patrol don't stop more of them and send them home.
Cheers,
Tony
