I just purchased a 18' pontoon boat with a 48v torqueedo installed. We live on an electric only small lake. If I would like to take it out on larger bodies of water, is there anyway to install an outboard as well? The fuel is easy, but steering, mounting, and trim might be an issue????

It could definitely be done. Use the electric motor as a "kicker" motor and install the outboard.

Outboard would have to be the kicker. I wonder if I could join steering and tilt?
