Care to take a stab at the vintage of this Evinrude?

All I know is it's a 200HP XXL (30") shaft. It was a salt water motor at one point, I see evidence of the transom bracket being re-finished and there is some slight corrosion again. Therefore the ID tag is long gone. I'm guessing early to mid 90s??? I need to order a few parts and some plugs for it but curious if any one can narrow it down further, or possible know what cut off years would be for parts interchange.

Look at the engine closely. The engine number will be stamped on the block somewhere, and also on the freeze plugs. With the engine number, any Evenrude tech can tell you exactly what engine you have.

You'll also need the engine number to get the correct parts, since there are changes to engines within the same model year.
