Transducer placement

My Bennington has the transducer for the built in depth gauge on the left pontoon. There is a flange there that is about seven inches wide. My question is can I mount the transducer for my Hummingbird GPS unit on the same flange without causing any interference between the two transducers. They would be mounted about three to four inches apart.

I have never mounted 2 next to each other but if they are at the same level I don't see why it would't work .

It'll work fine. On my Party Cruiser I did the same thing and never had an issue.

I have a Garmin and a Humminbird mounted about 3 feet apart and only get interference when I run both at the same frequency and at the same time. I don't think the transducers are interchangeable - each has proprietary connections.

Thanks for the input. While the boat is out of the water I will mount the hummingbird gps depth finder transducer. Only other option is to take it to someone who could weld a mounting flange on the other pontoon. Really don't want to weld on the pontoons.
