Anybody have any successful tips on rafting a pontoon with cruisers? I have a lot of friends with cruisers that I would enjoy rafting up with but am scared to death of screwing their boat up, or mine?

long ropes!! get close throw the ropes and have them hold the other end and your crew pull next to them.

Large bumpers, I use 4 on each side. And tie up to the stern and use a front line as a spring line to keep the bow from straying. After a few times, you'll get the hang of it.

Ed, cool pic of Canal Days, I've never seen it from that angle, just from the bridge.
I'm sure the town and the Inn really missed the revenue that party brought in, I miss the boobies.

Along with big fenders mentioned above, socially I always have better luck 69ing the boats. Most pontoon party areas are at bow, whereas most people hang out at the stern of cruisers. When you flip them, the two party area end up side by each :nana :drink2

I predict once they realize how much $$$ the boaters spent that weekend, they'll quietly bring back Canal Days.

Best product I have used to date.

http://exileaudio.com/store/index.php/i ... ender.html

Use this with the EZ Fender and you are set to go.

P.S. You can substitute the above with one of those kids Hippity Hop balls as well but the Buoy Ball can be blown up by your mouth (for easy storage)

Quietly meaning if boaters show up, they will look the other way until Canal Days is as big as it once was. Politics in a commie state... :donno
