Sadly we need to sell our Manitou Oasis 22 VP Tritoon, I put the details in the For Sale section on the forum. I also placed a Craigslist Ad,Boat Trader is $49 for two weeks. Any ideas on other places I should place my ad?... I realize this is a bad time of the year to try to sell, we are in no big hurry to sell.

Thanks,
Robert

Ebay. Listing fees for vehicles right now are FREE, perhaps they are boats too...

Be sure to place the Craig's List ad in multiple cities (especially those with lots of boating activity).

I would suggest you scout out trailers that can be purchased for the trihull boat.

Chances are that anyone that purchases it will have to put a $2500-$3000 trailer underneath the boat. It would be good if you had an answer for that issue when it comes up.

EBAY worked well for me once and it may for you. I had a relatively new 24 ft Sea Ray with only 66 hrs. Sold it in the Spring on EBAY after receiving lots of bids. Got way more money than I figured which was good but was nervous when I met him half way on the interstate. I was holding a piece of paper (check) and he had my boat going in the other direction. All ended up okay.

I sold my Baja for cash on craigslist to the second person to look at it. Too bad my pontoon isn't getting as much interest. The last two that looked at it said it was too big...even though the ad said "HUGE pontoon boat"!!! :paranoid :thumbsup
