Sea lions are becoming a plague on the west coast. Since they've restricted urchin and abalone fishing, these things have multiplied so much that they're causing problems in Marinas and for the Coast Guard in buoy maintenance. They've also caused an increase in Great Whites off California's coast.

The adult males have a nasty temper and boat owners on the West Coast are having to put up sea-lion gates & fences on their boats to keep the critters off.
From what a captain on a whale watching trip told us, orcas (killer whales) are also developing a taste for sea lions.

I thought this was going to be one of those joke videos. I kept waiting for the sea lion to jump back into the water only to have a huge Great White swallow him whole like on this commercial.
