Wife is doing great! EzFenders are back and doing fine, also

#1 Post by Bryden24shp » Mon Feb 10, 2014 11:03 am

It is with regret that I have to tell you that as of this month, I am discontinuing EzFenders. It has been my hopes that I could take the business to the point that it could be a household name in the boating community. And I think we were getting close to that point. I was so close with landing a deal with Walmart and Overtons. However, life has taken a different direction. My wife, Denise, has just been diagnosed with breast cancer and I am still working a ton of overtime at the plant, so something has to give. EzFenders was a great "hobby" business. I met thousands of different people and made a ton of friends, not only here but in the entire boating community. Its kinda cool to be out on the lake and have someone yell your name and realize its an EzFender customer. Its hard to shut the switch off, but with all that is going on, its time.
When things are better with Denise and we get some new hires trained at the plant, I'm hoping to have the time again to fire up the milling process and bring them back to life, with a fresh version. Plans were in the making for a whole different look. But, it will have to be shelved for awhile.
I'm not going anywhere, so you are all still stuck with this pain in the ass, giving bad advise and all.
Thanks everyone!
Bryan and Denise-(BryDen24SHP)

I have sold my remaining stock to Ty at PontoonStuff, he will be more than happy to get some into your hands, if needed.

Edited Post. This post was made after a tough decision was made. Since, we have gotten back to work, started up production and are back at it. There are a lot of posts to read to be updated to present... 12/3/14. But feel free to read on.

Thanks Guys! She is in very good hands at the clinic and her spirits are good! She has had a lot of "Pity Parties" and that's A-OK! Last night was the first time she has slept all night through without soaking the pillow in the last week. The initial shock is over, I got FMLA time from work, so we are off to Ia City for a 2nd opinion, tomorrow and the surgery is schedule for next week. She is all that matters right now...I will sure keep you posted!

Sorry to hear this Bryan! On both accounts. They are making good progress in treating Beast Cancer. It is a hard thing to go thru. We went thru two bouts of it but it all worked out in the end.
I love my EZ Fenders. They worked great.
Any chance you can sell the product line to someone?
