I am wanting to remove the carpet on my deck and replace it with something thats easier to keep clean. I'm getting real tired of catching my fish hooks in it and it'a a bear to keep looking nice. Has anyone done this and have any suggestions on what I should use for the flooring? I was thinking about possibly one of the roll on products made for decks.

What kind of vinyl would you suggest?

My neighbor painted his deck with this stuff...http://rustoleumrestore.com/

Is that what you meant about a "roll on product"? It has a fine grit in it so it is non slip, i think he got it at Home depot. You could paint the boat deck without removing the furniture if you choose.

Just an FYI. Home Depot does sell the restore stuff and they can tint to match about anything. I put it on my deck last year to "restore" it. :biggrin2 . Not saying yay or nay on it's feasibility on a boat deck.

Home depot also sells there own brand, but it's not nearly as thick.
