Prop Nut Wrench for Yamaha F-90 Motor?

#1 Post by NonHyphenAmerican » Sat Apr 05, 2014 8:08 pm

Hey All,

Question for those with experience.

My new Toon is still at the Dealer and will probably be ready by sometime this next week.

I've been getting stuff ready for it. Life Jackets, other safety equipment, etc. etc.

Got my little 14' Lowe ready for sale and an ad going into the local paper.

One of the things I told the Dealer to include, and he's throwing it in as part of the deal is an spare prop for the Yamaha F-90 motor. Question is, what size wrench will I need to change the prop?

For my little Honda 7.5, it was simply pull the cotter key, spin off the plastic hub nut, pull the prop, slide in a new shear pin, and then reverse the process.

I'm sure the dealer will show me, but I'm trying to get everything ready ahead of time.

Any suggestions?
