Is it easy to get a replacement key for my Merc 115 4 stroke ? I sold the boat, they want to pick it up this week but I left my keys at the cabin.
I can mail them the keys in a week but i want to run the motor for them. Can I just get a key from any merc dealer ? To early to call right now , thought someone might have an answer before the local dealer opens to satisfy my curiosity.

there should be a number on the ignition switch. I think usually they can make on off of that.

Mercury only makes about 2 dozen or so Outboard keys. Merc shops have all of them on a big key ring hanging in the shop. Take it to them and they'll fix you right up. They don't cut them, like a regular key. They have all the keys in stock, or can order them in a few days.

If you have the key number, you can call and see if they're in stock beforehand.

Although some dealers don't use Mercury ignition switches. I know the key for my Boat has "Tracker" on it and no number. Not a Mercury key, unless it's under the plastic "Tracker" cover.
