Hello everyone! We just purchased a used 21ft Sun Tracker fishing toon. Its in pretty good condition overall. I do have a question tho......a couple of the seats have about an inch of stitching coming loose at the seams.....all down near the bottom and side of the seats. My question is.....any idea how to fix it so the seams do not come apart any more?? Should I try and re-sew them??? or maybe just use some kind of glue????? Just trying to keep it from getting worse with use.....We did use the 303 conditioner on the seats.

You could attempt to remove the seat covers, and take them to an auto/marine upholstery shop. Their heavy duty sewing machines work better than any home sewing machine.

Thank you for the reply. I was hoping for an easy way to just stop the seams from coming apart any more than they already have. Figured someone might have tried glue or such and if it worked for them.

Glue won't help, but you can try sewing it with a curved needle. Use a nylon or polyester type thread, not cotton, and it should be UV proof thread.
