I saw those SilverWaves at the Tulsa Boat Show. The prices seemed nice but I had never heard much about them. I'll be interested to hear how your buddy likes the boat. It is a very nice looking toon.

Used to be Beachcomber bought by Bluewave
I like the rails on the outside of panels.

Lake runner is correct. Formerly Blue Wave. They make all their parts in house in Seminole Oklahoma. There turn around time on a new Toon is pretty impressive compared to a lot of manufacturers. They are a lower volume company but make fairly solid middle of the road product. Tried to buy one back in 2011 but they were so new you couldnt get a loan on one. They are now on NADA and KBB so a bank has something to go by. I have a friend who recently bought one and is pretty happy after the first couple of times out. Nice looking boat.

Looks sweet
My wife and I are very happy with our Silver Wave.
Blue Wave is still around. It's their fishing boat division.

If that's the case, and they still make them pretty much the same, then I'll vouch for them. Our Beachcomber seems to be very well made, and not more than 10lbs of wood on the entire boat. Seat bases are fiberglass, and the floor is aluminum plank.
Go Volbeat!

Yes, the tower is functional
Also, they are not an off shoot of Beachcomber. After Beachcomber went out of business some of the Beachcomber folks were hired by the Bluewave folks to design & build the Silverwave line.
The boat has two problems
1. he should have sprung for the 300hp. The 200hp is sufficient for the 23', but with graphics like that its go big or go home
2. He needs to triple the amount of speakers on the tower, if just for aesthetics. The sound system cost over $6,000 (all Wetsound), but again, if you are going over the top, then go for it.
What do ya think about the black powder coated fence rails?

The boat is nice but I like the trailer. It looks like a real factory boat trailer with the wheels and that style of fender. I would like to see the layout. Silver wave has a nice walk through rear bench/ layback I like!
