spot welds along the bottom. cut up the rear divider and welded a flat plat then capped off w/oring fitted cap.

I've got one in my center pontoon but it's because I have center pontoon storage and whenever we go out we usually get some water in it, especially when we are swimming a lot.

i have seen them before. I believe the riviera i am getting has them
