I picking up my new to me Landau the seats look like a angry hungry beaver got them.
But I really wanna do some time on the water as I replace items . I was wondering how some of the other members of the site
handled bad seats.
I was thinking 1) toss a seat cover over them..
Replace the helm ASAP and the other seats as I find good deals.
This site really helped me decide to purchase a pontoon boat

You can toss large beach towels on them when you are going to use them until you can buy new ones.

I did not think of the large towels. I quick trip to Wally World will fix that.
I also saw a few covers the towels under the cover just might be comfy

That's what I did. I put the soft side of the Velcro on the towel & ya don't even know it's there.

Lay a towel on the seat, Take a small wood dowl (about broomstick thickness) and wedge it in between the seat bottom and seat back to secure the towel and make a nice neat finish.

The towel will stay pretty much in place.
