Got my Harris Solstice

Finally got my 22' Harris Solstice with a Mercury 150 and Sea Legs. I can't believe how well it rides on rough water with the tri-toon. The Sea Legs work great on Shawano Lake WI being a shallow lake with a sand bottom. Sorry some of the pictures downloaded sideways.

They are 4 aluminum hydraulic legs that come down with a remote control for docking, they come down 6 ' from the underside of the deck so they won't work if your docking area is real deep. It is really nice if you stop at a place on the lake to eat, if there is any wakes from other boats going by the pontoon stays stable. Also if your lake has a sandbar where the boats all park it doesn't move from the waves if it is windy.

I had read about hydraulic legs but haven't seen any in action. How about some pictures when you're "standing tall"?

What is your top speed with the 150 on it. I just ordered mine this past Satuday (July 26). Did you order yours, if so, how long did it take to come in?

I did order mine in April took about 2 months but I would think now it would be less. The top speed is 38-39 mph by myself on the speedo. 36-37 on GPS. It gets up on plane at about 16mph and really rides nice on the rough water and when you turn sharp it banks like a V bottom boat. I never had a Tri-toon before just a two tube and I can't believe how nice it rides. I use to have a runabout but my wife never wanted to go out when it was rough now she wants to go out even if its windy with white caps.

Great, thanks for your information. I've had v-hulls all my life and I've had more people tell me they would never go back after experiencing a tri-toon. I boat on Lake St. Clair so it's rarely calm except in the morning or at dusk so the toons will get a workout.
