I do .....I do...

I absolutely love it on my 25 foot tritoon. A couple of points...when we cove out I like to swing around slightly and drift slowly to and fro. This is the main thing to consider. It isn't like a regular anchor line that holds you exactly in one place. It will stretch, and that means you will move a bit but the anchor remains in the same place. It will hold my 25 foot tritoon and a ski boat when we drop anchor. It also is great with waves by absorbing them. Check out you tube for demos.

In closing..I highly recommend them. I have used one since I got my new boat 3 years and counting with a box anchor.

MOSNOWMAN, thanks for the feedback! I just got a box anchor (backup to the "digger" anchor). Will check out YouTube vids. Thanks!

I have one also.

Another use is to allow to beach, but let the boat still float. You drop the anchor behind you and slowly motor towards the beach and tie off. Then the anchor buddy will stretch back and hold your boat off the beach a bit to protect the bottom. (Good if it's a rocky beach) I think there is a demo video on that also.
