Gas cover gasket material

Hey all,

Took the boat out the other day and noticed a small leak through the rubber gasket on the upper right cap in the below picture. As far as I can tell, it is just a cap on the tank. Any idea on where to get a gasket for this? Can I make my own? I thought about just caulking it, but I'd prefer to replace / make a new gasket. Thoughts? The one I'm referring to is just the metal circular plate with 7 bolts through it. Not the fuel supply, fuel sender, or the left cap which is part of the vent system.

Any help asap is appreciated. I'm heading out tomorrow to seal some of the deck seams on the underside of the deck and would like to address this as well.

I've had good luck making gaskets for various engine components on some of the restos I've done where pre-made gaskets are not available. Most auto parts stores will stock "sheet" gasket material made of cork/rubber or paper. I'd use whatever the original material is made from.
