A 2001 18' Kingfisher has come up for sale. Based solely on the pictures, the boat appears to be in excellent shape, but i'm not at all familiar with the Kingfisher name or its reputation. Has a relatively new 2012 40 HP Mercury (probably underpowered?). Any advice, pros/cons, or general information regarding Kingfisher pontoons would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I may have misspoke regarding the boat. The seller has it listed as a Kingfisher, but I believe it may be a 2001 Sea Hunt KF180B model. iboats.com shows that model exists, but can't find it in NADA under Sea Hunt. Hopefully this helps clear up any confusion in my original post. Thanks again.

Sea Hunt Boats are made in South Carolina. There's also a Sea Hunter Boats out of Florida. The Coast Guard doesn't show either of them making pontoon boats.
Kingfisher is a company out of British Columbia, Canada.
If you ask the seller for the first 3 letters in the Hull ID number, you can figure out exactly who the manufacturer is, and check NADA from that.
