mirage plus 15p 3 blade now about to put a alum 4 blade 15p to try, the ss sometimes would cavitate if people sat upfront but would eventualy catch and go, with just two it would pull the front up and only 1/3 of the rear in the water and run hard, ill see how this 4 blade same pitch alum does and report back, if good ill ebay the ss less anyone here buys it.

Your 30' boat is a different animal than 10' shorter toons, and with a big Mercury 2 stroke motor.
We'll be interested in seeing your performance.

I have a 3 blade stainless Turbo pontoon prop (14x13)that cavitates pretty easy even on the lowest engine mounting position and a 4 blade Mercury spitfire aluminum (13.8x11) that holds REALLY well, even with the motor at the highest mounting position. The 3 blade stainless won't even run at the highest mounting height unless I accelerate slowly. For what its worth, the Stainless 3 blade is 2-3mph faster.

Im not into speed as much as economy with this now, the ss would cav some but when it caught it was gone, people in another toon took picts and showed me when we stopped only about the rear third in the water and for something this big that says alot but at low rpm where we stay 98% time now i thought maybe the 4 blade would help with gas consumption, ive never seen anything in the water use this much gas, my alky inj 572 cu drag car is in the same area of consumption almost but with over 1500hp on spray. Will know results in few days.
