Filling & bleeding trim hydraulic system on trim

Apparently while changing out the starter I loosened the one line into the pump & lost the fluid to the system.
:coffee Can anyone coach me to the proper way to refilling the oil ?

One place I read the cylinders can get air locked & another mentions they are self bleeding ?

I'm assuming you have a reservior and just have to fill it and run the trim to bleed.
