What's the second best way to deal with water in the fuel? I realize the best way is to drain / clean / replace however while I search for a suitable container for 100+ gallons of fuel I thought I'd ask if any one has another idea...

One tank or several?

(1) Water is heavier than gas thus you can thieve off the water by siphoning from the lowest spot in the tank.

(2) Let settle and repeat step one again.

(3) Add a heavy dose of Marine Stabil or Sea Foam fuel additive as it can help displace some of the remaining water.

(4) Add a Racor branded water removing fuel filter system....

Not sure...haven't ran a full tank through yet. Have the water separator (s) already. Evidentially I'm terrible at siphoning because I tried that once

I'll keep at it. I'll drain the tanks when I can find something suitable to hold 100+ gallons of fuel!!!

Just tilt boat with jack, get hose with a primer bulb and pump till only gas comes out.

Easier said then done...twin tanks mounted inside the outer tubes makes it hard to tell if you get the hose straight down in the tank and not curling up. I'll take another stab at it, and be a bit more careful this time.

Piece of stiff wire and a small hose clamp and that hose will be easy to direct.

I can hold 26 gallons in my truck. I'll come up and let you put some in there....keep the water though

PVC Pipe hooked to tubing?

Also, check to see if the tank has a drain valve.

I had a Honda Outboard for my little fishing boat and the tank had a drain on the bottom.

We used a small pipe and wire since we didn't have a clamp, and used a small pump to get it started, then let gravity take over. Worked great.

Please tell me that's a fuel pump.
