Since my sweetwater pontoon does not have a gas guage I am learning to watch the tank and how fast I am going.
So far I see at wot I have a decent speed but my fuel burn is very very high.
At half throttle or below great fuel burn but really slow speed in my 18 foot boat.

What else would you expect from a little engine working its behind off running WFO
I've got a 60 on our 18 and I'm wishing I would have bought something bigger like an 75 or 80 HP
But I absolutely love that I've got a 32 gallon tank hanging under the boat in the motor pod; this boat has a seriously long set of legs....
If I were running on such a small tank like you are I'd not so much as leave the dock without a 2nd 6 gallon tank on board..

The 25Hp was what came with it. But I am in the process of adding another tank.
Its actually a bit peppy at WOT

Does not matter how big a font you use you still got a tiny motor.....
