sea legs on a premier ptx?

Anyone had or seen sea legs on a Premier PTX hull? My dad is thinking this is an appealing option, but I have a couple of concerns. First I'm not sure that there won't be room between the 36" pontoons but that seems to be something easily answered by the installer. More importantly, it seems that putting sea legs on the bottom seems to counter the whole point of underskinning your boat. Yes, it's a convenient place to store them and out of the way, but how is water bouncing off the sea legs any different than water bouncing off of the open cross members under the boat? I can't see how that could positively affect performance.

The space they show on there site is 12" between the tubes up by the deck and 10" between the tubes at the narrowest point. I have them on my 2014 Harris Solstice if you go to my post on the next page I GOT MY NEW SOLSTICE you can see them. I'm sure some of the spray deflecting off the lifting strakes hitting the legs may effect performance but not by much. I'm getting 37 MPH with the Mercury 150 four stroke which is more then I was expecting with the added weight of the Sea Legs. I had them make my pontoon with the skin delete. It sure is nice when you go to dock somewhere you don't have to tie it up or worry about boat wakes bouncing your pontoon around.

Here is my pontoon with the Sea Legs fully extended. It is 6' from the deck to the bottom of the foot.

The space who shows? Harris or premier? I thought I'd looked everywhere for the measurements between the pontoons on the 36" ptx and didn't have any luck.

Sea Legs installation instructions gives those dimensions. I would call Sea Legs and they should be able to tell you which brands and tubes they fit.
