Enertia prop on 115-4S, merc

I thougt the Enertia would be a large case prop as recommended for 135hp up. But, I see
Boat House Bulletin shows a test of a Harris 240 Crusier 115-4S. It does NOT say "Command Thrust FourStroke". So does anyone know if the barrel/tube/hub is the 4 1/4"? diameter same as the Trophy Plus? Or the 4 3/8" of the big V6 gearcase?

Thanks,
jim

Could somebody please with an Enertia prop, measure the outside diameter of the prop center tube/barrel/hub?
I know boats are in the water, but you should have lower unit trimmed up.

Thanks,

Jim

I should be able to check for you when I get home from work today. Without measuring, the Enertia appears to be the same size hub diameter as my Yamaha reliance 15p, and my old Mercury tempest plus and revolution 4.

I am not sure you will be able to spin enough RPM with the Enertia on a 115hp. Depends on how light your boat is, but I am doubtful. Its really meant for 150hp+ setups. The lower the pitch on an Enertia the larger the diameter. I think the 14p is 15 1/4" diameter which is huge for a 115.

Thanks Matt, if it is the same as a tempest+ it won't fit, tried a tempest+ last year before trying a Power tech that is not impressive. Talked to merc this morning and he said it would fit, but i am doubtful.

Thanks, jim.

Cant measure it the way I wanted, my boat is in the boathouse so I could only measure the exhaust end of the hub but the end is flared so that wont really help. I then went into the garage and measured the Reliance that I removed to install the Enertia. The hub diameter is 4 1/4" so I assume it is the same on the Enertia. Hope this helps!

Thanks, looks like probably not fit, despite what Merc said.
