Aftermarket Lighting.
Post some photos of what you did or added and how you secured it.
Bounced around quickly and I didn't see any threads on adding "Bling" to the boat with LEDs or rope lighting so if I started one that is already going, didn't mean to, but online there are some beautiful boats where the owners have added outside lighting and inside floor lighting. Even seen some on the Bimini rails that looked cool.
POST some photos of anything you have done to turn your Pontoon up a notch.. BLING!!!!
Thanks.

I have the same RGB strips under my seats. I had a hard lesson on how not to do this. A lot of unnecessary hours of installation

Bling is for teens in rice rockets, colored lights outside of the boat will confuse navigation at night and will get you a hefty fine, you can use accent lighting inside for convenience of people walking around of doing things.

You can buy a complete kit from several of the pontoon parts suppliers, but most are a single color. There are lots of color changing, RGB (red, green, blue), waterproof, 16.4' , model 5050 LED strips and all the associated connectors, remote control (get RF not IR), etc. on eBay and Amazon. If you need more than 16.4 feet and 300 LEDs per side, it will require additional strips, wiring and a connector, but it looks like a real simple job. The LED strips are inexpensive on eBay and Amazon and can be cut into 3' lengths. Be sure to get the waterproof LED strips and the 5050 LEDs if you want color changing or special effects lighting. The model 3528 LEDs are single color. If you want real wild colors, movement, chasing lights, lots of action, etc., check out the Dream Color Lights. They all mount the same way. Make sure to get the waterproof strip.
Google LED strip lights and you'll find lots of info.
You're not supposed to use them while moving in most states.

That I like.
Like those color changing lights to Trailblazer
MH Hawker, I"m not so sure about the Bling part. Few of us old farts still enjoy a different way to doing things.
With the reflecting light on the pontoons and not in direct vision , have you guys really run into any issue with LEOs about this.
And yes I have a hundred questions to ask. LOL But you all have been enjoying and dealing with issues for a while.
thanks.

Since brand new pontoons come with them, there must not be an issue. Maybe you can only use them while anchored.

Old enough to know better at 50 I'm still riding a big crotch rocket with lots of bling as well as go fast and stop fast mods.... Just never understood the colored light craze....

At 50, your just getting out the kid stage.
Life don't begin till 40.. After 50, its a flipping blast.
Ain't nothing wrong with turning things up a notch or two.
Have a go fast toy myself, just got you by 7 years, and i'm running BluewaterLEDs on the boats and it and they help me out with the product but the greatest thing in the world is supporting kids, and they enjoy the bling so its fun being able to bring it to them , counsel them in something they are interested while enjoying your hobby.
Bass boat is LIT UP, and its ok to have a little bit of kid in us all.....

LittleRiver without question your dock lighting looks great...
I still don't like a boat, car or bike glowing in the dark like a Mardi~Gras float...

Your still a young-en. you'll grow out of it.

For the street I totally agree. But when you take it off the street I think the highlighting looks great.
First thing it says is about the owner. Their taking pride in making their stuff look nice.
Like car shows. You don't go to look at the cars. You go to see what idea's others have come up with you didn't think about..

Prefer dark sky than neon glow....
You go for it though and I'll be on the porch enjoying a spicy bloody mary!

Thats something the GF mentioned to . Cruising easy at nights looking at the views above but we have so many crab pots over here on the coastal thing the front lights have to be run all the time while moving. YOu guys already know if they will affect things or not. . We'll see here shortly.
